Phil Ifil is an English full back who was born in Willesden, London on 18th November 1986. His brother Jerel is also a professional footballer. Ifil began his career with Tottenham, and made his debut in the opening match of the 2004/05 Premiership season, a 1-1 draw with Liverpool on 14th August. Ifil had two separate loan spells at Championship outfit Millwall in 2005/06. He played 17 times for The Lions, and was sent off for the first time in his career on 22nd October 2005 in a home defeat to Southampton. Ifil returned to White Hart Lane in 2006/07, but made just two appearances all season.
