Michael Green

Michael Green is an English midfielder/right back, who was born in Gloucester on 18th December 1984. Green began his career with Southampton in the early 2000s, but was released by the club in March 2004 after being told he wouldn't make it at St Marys. He then joined Conference outfit Forest Green, making his debut in a 4-0 defeat at Morecambe on 3rd April 2004. In 2004/05 Green started alongside former Premiership stars Des Lyttle and Paul Warhurst, but missed months of the season through injury. He had short spells with Chippenham Town and Cinderford Town, before signing with Bath City in 2006. Green helped them reach the Conference South in 2007, but then lost his place in the side. He signed for Clevedon Town of the Southern League in 2007. A year later he moved up to the Conference South again, signing for Weston-super Mare. Green joined hometown club Gloucester City in 2010.
