Alexander Aas

Alexander Aas is a Norwegian defender who was born in Skien, Norway on 14th September 1978. Aas began his professional career with Odd Grenland, making his debut in 1995. He battled back from a broken ankle in 1996 and a broken leg in 1997 to win a Norwegian cup winners medal in 2000. He also represented the club in the UEFA Cup during the 2001/02 season. Aas had a trial with Southampton in 2000, but was not offered a contract. The former Norway U21 international left Grenland after nine years in 2004 to join Danish outfit Odense. He had previously trained with Wolves, where he featured in one reserve match. In 2007 Aas signed for Stromsgodset.
